What The CX Journal publishes, how rankings are decided, and what happens when we get something wrong.

What is this?

The CX Journal covers the software teams use to run customer experience and voice of customer programmes. That means CX platforms, feedback analytics, survey and review analysis, and the tools sitting between raw customer feedback and a decision somebody has to make.

Coverage starts now, and this note explains what to expect from it.

What gets published here

Guides rank platforms against one defined job, and state the criteria before the list starts. Comparisons take two platforms and work through where each one is the better answer.

Signals covers what changed: pricing moves, product launches, acquisitions and shutdowns that alter which platforms belong on a shortlist, plus practical notes on running the work after the purchase decision.

How rankings are decided

Every ranked guide begins with one job a team is trying to do, and every platform in it is measured against the same five published criteria: fit for the stated job, depth of underlying analysis, integration coverage, pricing transparency, and how much manual work is left behind.

Nobody pays to appear. Vendors read a guide when you do. Where an affiliate relationship exists it is disclosed on the page it applies to, and it never changes the order of a list.

When we get something wrong

Factual errors, material product changes and missing context all get corrected. The visible last-updated date changes when an update is material, so you can see when a guide was last revisited. Corrections go to the editorial address on the contact page.

How often does this publish?

Guides publish when the research behind them is finished rather than to a fixed schedule. Signals items publish when something changes that would alter a shortlist.

Does the site accept sponsored placements?

No. Placement and ranking are never sold, and no vendor previews a guide before publication.

How do I suggest a correction or a tool?

Both go to the editorial address on the contact page. Corrections are handled as described on the methodology page.
